NSWLearning – Data and Privacy
Here at NSWLearning, we take your privacy seriously.
We will only use the personal information that you share with us on our contact form to respond to questions that you ask. We will never contact you at a later date for any reason, unless you make contact with us and ask further questions. We never share your contact details with anybody else.
If you submit an application form to NSWLearning you will be obliged to provide us with personal information –
Name and contact data
We collect the following information regarding parents, supervisors and where necessary students – first name and last name, email address, postal address, phone number and other similar contact data;
We collect data about gender, country and specifically with regard to students their age, date of birth, gender, first language, preferred name, and other similar data. We also collect relational data about students and their family.
We do not request any financial data from you such as credit or debit card details.
How we use personal data
We collect data for two reasons –
1. To operate our business and provide the products that you purchase from NSWLearning;
2. To send communications to you about our services.
We will not share your personal data with any other individuals, agencies or organisations under any circumstances, unless we are legally obliged to do so. (See below for further information on limited data sharing)
We pro-actively manage the number of people who have access to this information, whether it is kept in paper form or electronically.
Who we share your information with
We share a limited amount of your personal information (notably names and email addresses) with PowerSchool, our learning platform provider, in order to provide you with access to courses.
Where we store your data
NSWLearning stores data both in paper form and electronically. All data is stored securely. NSWLearning makes use of Google Suite for Education. Google is compliant with GDPR.
How long we keep your data
NSWLearning will only keep your personal information for as long as it is required and in accordance with statutory requirements.
