Great reasons to choose NSWLearning

We know you have a choice. Here are some reasons to choose us!

We started the online educational revolution back in 1999. Twenty years of experience means we understand online learning with young people.

High Quality

Online learning is about curriculum and tutorial support. We excel in both!

We know about home education because many of our tutors home educated their own children!

We have some of the most experienced online educators in the world

Steve Richards, B.Ed. Hons (Wales), M.A. (Educ) (London), M.Ed (Open), PGCMeL (Hudd)

Steve co-founded NSWLearning and is an experienced consultant and speaker on online learning and home-based learning. He has over 20 years experience of tutoring online and has developed online curriculum in a number of subjects including History, Geography and Religious Studies. He was the founding headteacher of Bethany Christian School in Sheffield and has previously worked as a Project Manager with CARE. Amy Turner, B.A. (Oxon), PGCE (East Anglia)

Amy tutors our IGCSE History students and English 7 and 8 students. She has previously worked as a CiE history examiner. In the past she taught English and history in secondary schools and now tutors pupils in both subjects on a one-to-one basis. Also, with a colleague, she runs a business, providing classes for children who are home educated in the Norwich area. She has an enthusiasm for the arts and is a real 'book worm'. In addition to that she is a keen swimmer and, along with her husband, takes an active part in her local church.

Rebecca Anderson, M.A. (Cantab), PGCE (Cantab)

Rebecca tutors all of our French courses throughout NSWLearning. She has previously been second in charge of the Modern Languages Department in a UK High School. Rebecca has been a CAiE IGCSE examiner for a number of years. She was home educated in Gabon in West Africa where she prepared for her GCSEs by correspondence college.

Aileen Seymour, B.Sc. (Hons) London, PGCE, (Oxon)

Aileen Seymour, B.Sc. (Hons) London, PGCE, (Oxon)

Aileen received her PGCE from Oxford University. Her passion for education has led to many years of teaching at secondary level, including as Head of Chemistry in a large UK school and leading the Gifted and More Able Programme. As Head of Science in the new British secondary section of a Swiss international school, she contributed to developing the curriculum through to successful IGCSEs and fully equipping the laboratories.
