Great reasons to choose NSWLearning

We know you have a choice. Here are some reasons to chose us!

Experienced

We started the online educational revolution back in 1999. Twenty years of experience means we understand online learning with young people.

High Quality

Online learning is about curriculum and tutorial support. We excel in both!

Knowledgeable

We know about home education because our senior staff actually did it - themselves - with their children!

At NSWLearning, we believe that home-based learning is the best way to educate children. Steve and Lyn Richards, our Directors, have spent over thirty years speaking widely about educating children without school. In addition, they educated their four children at home.
We are passionate about home education; we are not anti-school, we simply do not think that modern schools are the best places for children to grow. Children need more freedom and more time in order to develop the incredible gifts that they all possess – time and freedom that schools all too easily take away from them. In addition, we think parents are important people in shaping the lives of children and young people.
We see our role as one of enabling, empowering and facilitating families. Parents and young people should be the ones making decisions but we will assist you and support you, all the way, in order to help you make the best decisions.
At NSW, we do not see home-based learning as a second-best – it is as simple as that!

Meet some of our incredible staff

We have some of the most experienced online educators in the world

Ross is one of our most experienced tutors. He is our Senior Tutor and for many years was Headteacher at Trinity Christian School in Stalybridge, near Manchester. Tutor

Amy tutors our IGCSE history students and year 7 and 8 English students. She has previously worked as a CiE history examiner. In the past she taught English and history in secondary schools and now tutors pupils in both subjects on a one-to-one basis. Also, with a colleague, she runs a business, providing classes for children who are home educated in the Norwich area. She has an enthusiasm for the arts and is a real 'book worm'. In addition to that she is a keen swimmer and, along with her husband, takes an active part in her local church.

Rebecca Anderson, MA (Cantab), PGCSE (Cantab)

Rebecca tutors all of our French courses throughout NSWLearning. She has previously been second in charge of the Modern Languages Department in a UK High School. Tommy Farrell, B.Sc. (Soton), PGCE (Soton)

Tommy tutors our IGCSE and A Level Business Studies and Mathematics courses. Having worked with his family overseas as a school leader at an International School, he currently teaches Maths and Computing (with a small helping of Geography) at a Secondary school in the North West of England.
